At Cook’s Farm Dairy, we believe learning should be fun, interactive, and delicious! Our private guided tours are designed to provide a meaningful, behind-the-scenes look at life on a real working dairy farm in Ortonville, Michigan. Whether you're organizing a field trip for students, a day out for a community group, or a fun outing for an organization, our tours are ideal for all ages and abilities.

What's Included:

  • A guided walking tour of our family-owned farm and on-site dairy processing plant
  • Insightful learning moments with our friendly farmers and plant managers
  • A taste of our famously rich and creamy chocolate milk
  • A small scoop of ice cream in your choice of five classic flavors:
    • Chocolate
    • Vanilla
    • Strawberry
    • Mint Chocolate Chip
    • Oreo Cookie

Note: Once your tour is confirmed, please complete your ice cream order form at least 24 hours before your scheduled tour.

Tour Details:

  • Group Size: 20 to 120 people
  • Tour Times:
    • Tuesday – 10:30 AM & 1:30 PM
    • Wednesday – 10:30 AM & 1:30 PM
    • Thursday – 10:30 AM & 1:30 PM
    • Saturday – 10:30 AM
  • Duration: 40 minutes to 1 hour
  • Deposit: A $150 deposit is required to reserve your tour date. This deposit covers the minimum cost for up to 20 guests and will be applied toward your total balance.
  • Additional Cost for Groups of 21-120 Guests: $7.50 per person
  • Payment for 21-120 Guests: Cash or check only. Due at the time of the tour.
  • Ice Cream Orders: Please pre-select your group’s flavors before arrival

Our goal is to provide an enjoyable and educational experience for every guest. We welcome questions and encourage curiosity during each tour. Whether you’re meeting the cows or seeing where the milk is bottled, you’ll leave with a new appreciation for where your dairy products come from—and maybe a new favorite flavor of ice cream!
